Classic Cars, Vinyl Records, Conversations, Handwritten Notes, and Core Values

We are living in a paradoxical time. While technology was designed to help us become more efficient, we may find ourselves spending more time on software issues and updates than we spend reading the notes we have written.

There is great value in a just right mixture of classics, basics, and technology.

I find it both challenging and rewarding when forced to take the long way. In our world of AI, we will find a need to consciously set aside time for writing from our hearts and heads.

When making use of the artificial, there will always be value in being real. We’re often reminded that those things we possess that are imperfect have the most meaning to us and help us remain genuine and grateful.

While it is great to utilize technology, the challenge becomes to continue to appreciate the wonder of prior things.

I drive a new Toyota every day and appreciate all the “goodies” that come with it. However, it will never replace the feeling of driving my Chevelle SS. While they are both forms of transportation, they co-exist in my life and serve a different purpose.

I hope you will learn as I am learning, to step into the new while holding on to the value of the old, however that may apply to your life.
